Kendalee Stables
The aim of the stud is to produce a number of horses yearly that will suit all three Olympic disciplines.
Horses are bred to ensure that they not only have sensational movement and correct, airy jumping ability, but also good temperaments and are trainable. The stud is being developed on 270 acres of clean, hilled land with the thought of breeding strong, sound horses.
Our Broodmares:
Kendalee Stables believes that a stud will stand on the quality of mares that they have in their brood mare paddocks. Great care has been taken over the past 25 years to keep only the best broodmares and to breed them to the best possible stallions.
Bloodlines that walk the hills at Terip, include some of the most prominent German Holsteiner lines. Some of them are: Lord, Farnese, Calypso I, Wildfeure (imp), Monopol (imp), Rocadero (imp), Flaneur(imp), Talisman(imp), Graft Top (Frozen semen), Espri (Frozen semen) Quasimodo (Frozen semen), Farmer (Frozen semen)
The Stud is growing bigger and stronger with every year that we have been breeding. It is our aim to keep improving the bloodlines in the broodmare paddock and to introduce new and exciting young stallions. We see it as a never ending journey that we are taking, hoping that we will still be looking for that improvement colt, filly or bloodline to take us into the next decade. This is a family business that we hope will continue for many years to come.

Kendalee Idol Rock
Sire: Rocadero (imp) Dam: Farina (Flanuer imp)
Idol Rock is 16.1hh, Bay, short coupled with super movement and great jumping ability. He has produced both successful jumping horses and dressage horses both to warmblood mares and to TB’s. He has a super temperament and for many years was James “JR show jumping mount”. James commenced riding Idol Rock at the age of 14 years and together they went from EFA D grade to mini prix—1.40m competitions.
