Join Melbourne based choir leader Jane York for a Big Feminist Sing featuring songs about climate change and our love for our natural environment.
Over two hours Jane will take you through a series of songs both short and long that can be lead and sung at climate protests, vigils, rallies and events including the resources for leaders to teach them to their groups.
Then bring a plate and stay for dinner, and a chat about leading singing as activism and how you can organise and participate in this type of musical space.
This workshop is for everyone from total beginners to singing leaders.
Kids are very welcome and are free. Adults are $15 cash payable on the door.
Feminists of all genders are very welcome at BFS and we have a zero tolerance policy on transphobia.
Note this space is not wheelchair accessible and has three large stairs at the entrance.
